Education:  J.D. Notre Dame Law School 1980

Judicial Experience:  First elected to Marion Superior Court in 1996 – served past 11 years in civil and criminal courts. Presided over approximately 20,000 cases and 250 jury trials

Significant Legal Accomplishments:  Master of Judicial Studies, University of Nevada Reno 2006; Certificate in Judicial Development, National Judicial College 2004; Indiana Graduate Program for Judges 1999; Indiana Judicial College 2006, Associate Faculty IUPUI – Associate Faculty of the Year 2003, 2006; IBA Certificate of Excellence - Legal Education 2001; Smith Community Lawyer Fellowship 1980

Other Legal Involvement: Chair, Heartland Pro Bono Council 1998-2004 ( Awarded ISBA Pro Bono Publico Award 2002 and Randall T. Personal Statement: "I believe it is a privilege to work with lawyers and serve clients. The best judges are those with a calm demeanor, a good legal mind, and consistently fair in every case. For the past 11 years, I have tried very hard to be a judge with these qualities."
