BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

Education: Received J.D. 1989, University of Dayton.

Judicial Experience: I am currently a Marion Superior Court Judge in Criminal Court 16 having been elected in 2000. Previously, I spent 10 years as a Magistrate at Marion County Juvenile Court.

Significant Legal Accomplishments: My significant legal accomplishments are my 15 years sitting on the bench as a Magistrate and Judge. I was a Magistrate at Marion County Juvenile Court for 10 years. I spent 8 of those 10 years as Chief Magistrate. I currently sit in Domestic Violence Court.

Other Legal Involvement: Indianapolis Bar Association. Indiana State Bar Association. Marion County Bar Association. Executive Committee Governmental Practice Section of Indianapolis Bar Association. Indiana Judges Association.

Personal Statement: My judicial qualifications are my 15 years of judicial experience. My first 10 years were as a Magistrate hearing juvenile delinquency cases, Children in Need of Services cases and paternity cases in Marion County Juvenile Court. I am now the sitting Marion Superior Court Judge in Criminal Court 16 hearing Domestic Violence cases.
