Education:
Marc grew up in Indianapolis, attended Indiana University in Bloomington for his undergraduate degree, and then graduated with his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Judicial Experience:
In October 2003, he was appointed to be a Master Commissioner for the Marion Superior Court in the newly created Arrestee Processing Center, and then later in the Marion County Traffic Court.  In 2008, Marc was elected as a judge of The Marion Superior Court.  Marc started his service as judge in Criminal Court 9, where he oversaw thousands of D-felony and misdemeanor cases.  On January 1, 2013, Marc became the presiding judge in Criminal Court 2, handling major felony crimes, including rape, child molest, and murder.

Significant Legal Accomplishments:
In addition to his service on the bench, Marc was elected by his fellow judges as an Associate Presiding Judge on The Marion Superior Court’s Executive Committee.  In that role he handles administrative matters, such as budgeting, personnel, and court wide policy.  Marc began his career as a deputy prosecutor in 1998, prosecuting everything from juvenile delinquencies to crimes involving serious violent felons.

Other Legal Involvement:
Marc is also an active member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, having helped organize multiple Bench Bar Conferences and serving the association as both a member of their board of directors and as a Vice-President.
