BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

Education: Indiana University-Indianapolis School of Law, January 1981. Graduated cum laude. Graduate, Indiana Graduate School for Judges, June 2004

Judicial Experience: Elected 11/2000 as Marion Superior Court Judge. Supervising Judge, all Adult Probation Services 2002-present. Member, Indiana Judicial Board of Directors 2004-present. Indiana State Probation Committee 2002-present, presently Committee Chair.

Significant Legal Accomplishments: Marion County Deputy Prosecutor 1981-2000; Director of Training, 1991-2000, Senior Deputy 1985-2000, Major Felony Deputy for 20 years with well over 100 jury trials tried. Faculty, National Institute of Trial Advocacy 1988-present. Author: "The Employment Contract: What You Should Know;" 1988 national publication, American Guild of Organists.

Other Legal Involvement: Member, Indianapolis Bar Association. Member, Marion County Bar Association. Fellow, Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Chairman, IBA Bench Bar Conference 2003. Personal Statement: I have presided over three courts since 2000. I have maintained or reduced each caseload, despite hearing 60-100 cases daily. I have promoted efficiency and collegiality amongst the bar. I have actively sought additional resources for the entire judicial system and will continue to do so.
