Personal Statement: “My past five years on the bench have been very rewarding. Although I deal with very difficult cases, the lawyers who practice in my Court make my daily experience very enjoyable. Outside of the Court I have worked hard to stay involved in the legal community in order to understand the issues that lawyers are faced with on a daily basis. I have also worked hard both as a lecturer and a pupil to stay abreast of the many recent and dramatic changes in the criminal law. Since taking the bench I have presided over 125 major felony trials. I believe all of the above makes me uniquely qualified to continue serving as a Marion County Superior Court Judge.”
